The header image was selected to illustrate the concept of "connecting the dots" in breakthrough innovation. The innovator immerses themself in the problem -- data, customer needs, available technology, financial analysis, market trends, etc. In doing so, they are only subsidiarily aware of all of this, focusing instead on the innovative concept that connects all of these "dots". Similarly, in viewing a Random Dot Stereogram (the image; in the same class as MagicEye images), the viewer is only subsidiarily aware of all of the dots on the page, focusing instead on the embedded three-dimensional image. By attending to the header image carefully, the viewer will ultimately "see" a three dimensional image -- a metaphor for the innovative concept "seen" by the breakthrough innovator.
